Re: Chris Lee
Its simply unreal. This guy represents so much that's wrong with this league. He should be allowed nowhere near a hockey rink, let a lone officiating an NHL game. Very embarrassing for the league and everyone who loves the game. No, I am not exaggerating.

Re: Chris Lee
Referees should not decide the outcome of a game. What happened to putting away your whistle in the last 10 minutes of a game? Lee is consistently brutal and is just another example of a watered down league with respect to players and referees.

Re: Chris Lee
It always seems to be the refs. The same players taking the same lazy penalties at inopportune times. Over the course of a season the refs are not to blame it's the players and a lack of accountability.

Re: Chris Lee
blue, I was talking about the entire game and both teams. If you look at the game thread I also make mention of occasions when the Habs were not called, especially Lapierre. When talking about Lee, I am also not referring to just Habs games. I have watched him in many other games and its always the same. Simply not good enough, and as snowhab mentioned, there is nobody to hold the refs accountable.

Re: Chris Lee
Lee and Auger are the 2 worst in the league, hands down its not even close.Auger got exposed in Vancouver(the Burrows incident)and Lee exposes himself every game as to how unprofessional and awful they are.Neither has reffed a playoff game-it must be time to end their careers because neither is getting any better.Agreed they are an embarrassment to the league, but so is Buttman,so on it goes.

Re: Chris Lee
It really does hurt the overall product on the ice having Lee out there. It has already surpassed the point of absurd. The NHL refuses to hold their officials accountable and its a serious issue. Bettman is only focused on trying to turn the NHL into the NBA, which he has already kind of succeeded at and moving teams to Alabama or some ridiculous non-hockey market. Definitely time for a change up top

Re: Chris Lee
Ummm...nothing? Both teams had to deal with the poor reffing. Agreed it is not right to have to deal with but the habs lost cause they sat on a one goal lead against a power house.

I am not blaming Lee for the loss. The Sharks are simply a much better hockey team. Overall, even though we lost, I am happy with the effort we gave.

Re: Chris Lee
I was happy with all but 10 minutes. Price played well enough to win and we did not support him for 10 minutes and it was the difference.
