Need a big bounce back night for sure.
We need to start shooting the puck!!!!!!
Banged up a little, Whitney has to show it tonight as I am sure he draws back in. I expect a big game from him.
SHHOOOOOT!
Oil 3-2 OT S/O
This is a game we have to win. Not because if we lose, we'll be out of the playoff picture or anything but because Dallas is a team that is one point behind us. We have to win this to show we deserve to be a playoff team!

Go Oilers Go! I'll be a few seatsd beside the penalty box tonight. Lets see a win
5-1 Oils
K, enough of my negativity or I'll have to change my screen name to Pessimisto!!
First solid 60 minute effort by the Oilers and they win it 4-1. I don't think losing sits well with the kids or anyone on the team for that matter!!
Hope I'm right!!!
Looking forward to it. Gotta' say tht the best thing about this season is there is no time to dwell on past games with the schedule so tight.
Teams are almost identical standings wise but the Oil win the match up on PK, PP, GF and GA. One stat I find intersting is that the stars give up almost as many chances as we do
I think this is the game our first line breaks out and start shooting and as a result we win this one handedly. 5-2 Oil.
Go Oil!
I hope the Oil can escape with no injuries tonight.....Knock on wood.
2 - 1 Dallas in a shoot out, it's awfully hard to win hockey games when you can't score more than 1 - 2 goals a game
ALERT!!!!! Break out game..... At least IMHO....
5-2 oilers

Shoot is the keyword for this game.
Look at Voynov yesterday come off the blue line and wire one home. Our D doesnt do that, guys like Smid and Whitney will hold up, fan on a pass or try to go around the guy and get hit into the boards and lose the puck.
LOL
I love this. Sommeone with a Canucks logo starting a thread for the Oil. Good luck against Dallas. They are ripe for the taking
Sorry guys, but they don't stand a chance tonight. Stars = Oilers Kryptonite. Look at these numbers, here's the Oilers all-time record against the Stars:
57-87-15 for a win % of 40.6%
That notwithstanding, they've managed to beat the Stars ONCE in the last 10 games against them. I'm almost at the point where if I see an Oilers game versus the Stars on the schedule, I just chalk it up as a loss and don't even bother watching it.
Stars 4
Oilers 1

1-0 Oil.
They really, really, need another d-man or two who can pass the puck.
looks like no Nuge tonight
Missing 3 of your top 4 centre man is a good recipe for disaster.... If stuff like this keeps up, there will be a lot of rough night!
So, if Nuge is out, we have; Arcobello Gagner Lander and ????? Can they call up another c-man or does someone draw in off the wing???
