Only one song worth listening to today. The inimitable Donald Fagen with Snowbound.
You in TO Milt?
Pretty nasty here in the Hammer...about 7-9 inches or so......
Got to my office this morning (6 story building so probably a good ~80 people in here typically), and there was only one pair of footprints leading up to the door... So we'll see how busy it is. Might be a quiet day around here.

Is it bad downtown tm?
Still snowing in the Hammer but not too bad......fair bit fell though.
Not a lot here yet, it's still on the way. I can't decide whether I'm disappointed that it's happening on a day I was already off, so I might miss out on a snow day, or happy because it means there is no chance I have to go out in that weather.

In Milton ( a-ha I hear you say!) at about 8 inches right now, but coming down hard. My wife headed into Mississauga a couple of hours ago, she tells me it was chaos, 1.5 hours to make a 25 minute journey.
Hunker down and ride it out is what I'm doing. Meanwhile some of our posters from places where real snow falls for six months of the year, are shaking their heads and calling me names!
Ottawa got a few centimetres overnight but we're expecting another 20cm or so throughout the day. This afternoon's commute could be fun.
One of my coworkers took a day off to go ice fishing.

It's a fine day to be in the studio...I'll say that much.
And yes....a-ha entered a lobe.
How many times do I have to tell you Brit's, if the snow doesn't cover the lip on the sole of your shoe.. IT NOT A SNOW STORM!!!
For Toronto? Yea, it's pretty bad.
Compared to Ottawa, and I'm sure the Prairies though... it's not all that bad lol, so it's relative. I got in at about ~8AM, it's been snowing ever since, and when I was outside there had probably already been ~10-15cm compared to yesterday.
It looks like we're going to miss the snow part of this double storm here in South Jersey. Our daughter called from suburban Boston this morning and she's been told not to come in and work from home. She's planning to attend the Bolts-Bruins game Saturday afternoon. Tampa has a game in Boston Saturday and NYC Sunday. Good luck!
Get all the bad snow storms out of the way before the 17th, when I grace Ontario with my majestic prescence, please.
Really- I don't want to get snowed in in Orleans.
