very interesting how the nhl retroactively puts a poison pill on certain team's big contracts to make them pay for what the nhl sees as circumventing the spirit of the old cba. And yet bettman's buddie's team tosses a 5 million dollar cap hit away and not a word from anybody about that.It doesn't feel to me like this trade is following the spirit of any cba.The relationship between jacobs and bettman compounded with the proven interference of campbell has tainted the bruins and their success as well as the nhl as a whole.

the bruins get no more special treatment than any other team, want to talk about cba bull**** deals?  how about the contracts made just before the cba expired? suter and parise?  they only wanted 5 yr max terms but then they go and do that right before bargaining?  the problem is not the bruins, the wild, the leafs, the habs or their owners its bettman  bettman needs to go, complete problem in nhl would be solved

ever watched any rock em sock em videos? that hit that chara laid on him has been going on for years the only reason it had such consequences is the size difference, not charas fault  and by the way you dont poke at someone all game and get cheap shots in then expect not to get a reaction as he did, and as for lucic i am a firm beleiver of if a goalie wanbts to leave his crease not just a foot or two but the way miller did and play the puck as a third defensemen let him have the same rules as a defensmen he was way out of the safety zone its his own fault play goal or play defense not both not sure which boychuk or marchand play u are refferring to so i cant respond and how many times did they run thomas and cross check him?  i would retaliate as well? so miller should be safe and not touched but thomas can be? seems pretty fair to me  not saying the bruins are perfect at all but you are honestly going to try and tell me burrows has never gotten away with anything? come on now thats nonsense   every single game in the nhl there are penalties that go uncalled not just a b's game
